It comes after a fashion designer behind some of the most iconic Spice Girls outfits created a £195 body-con frock (above) with a built in face mask inspired by the pandemic.

In August, Dee Izmail, 56, from London, unveiled a new collection which includes the £195 white dress - which is available on Etsy and features a face mask as part of an exaggerated collar.

The design of the Covid Dress was influenced by Dee's signature 90s clubwear which was well-loved by the Spice Girls.

The band famous for its girl power mantra donned over 80 of Dee's pieces throughout the Nineties, cementing her as one of the top club wear designers of the era.

Her new dress is also designed to raise awareness for Kawasaki disease - a condition where blood vessels become inflamed - which has increased recently.
